Pray-20

Welcome to the Pray-20 Pittsburgh Summit 2009

1 Timothy 2 (NIV)
1 I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone— 2 for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. 3 This is good, and pleases God our Savior

Some guys from various fellowships planned a "prayer walk" exhibition on the cut at Carnegie Mellon related to the G-20 on September 24 and 25, 2009. The idea was to make one "post" for each country, where you can learn about and find relevant prayer topics for the country. If you walked from post to post, learned about the countries and prayed a prayer, then you did the "prayer walk."

Our purpose was to impact the world through spiritual warfare when those powerful world leaders visited our city. We believe in the power of the spirit, the power of the angels and in the power of thought. We also knew that prayer change the hearts of those who pray to something more beautiful than what it was before; extra beautiful when all kinds of different Christians can be united in the same prayer. The prayer walk was also going to be very visible on the cut, making a powerful statement to the campus community.

Therefore, we invited all the fellowships to join us for the event. If anyone wanted to put their hearts in the project, we'd love some help to write sheets for the different countries. We ended up with 11 different authors from at least four different fellowships writing 22 sheets

If G-20 is coming to you, or you share our heart for the world, feel free to be inspired and take use of this site. It was a blessing.
